Shinesty Video Script
This project was all about going big. The prompt? Create an unhinged video concept to launch a fictional line of Dogecoin-themed apparel, with no creative or budget limitations.
At the time, Dogecoin wasn’t just a meme; it was a cultural moment. It represented internet chaos, collective hype, and a very specific kind of irreverent optimism. In other words, a perfect match for Shinesty’s brand. ▶️🩲◀️
Setting: Indoors, dimly lit, all-black stage. Lit up letters spell DOGECOIN in TedTalk-style lettering in the background.
Action: Out walks Billy Markus, one of the inventors of Dogecoin. He raises his hands to welcome the crowd. He’s in Shinesty’s new Dogecoin robe holding a dog leash connected to a happy Shiba Inu.
Action: Billy Markus, Dogecoin's Co-Founder, stops at the center stage. The trained dog does a trick jump. The crowd applauds the dogo. The dog walks off the stage, giving Billy the spotlight. He raises his hands to quiet the crowd.
Billy: Welcome and thank you all for taking a small internet joke made in 2013 way too far [as he makes a ‘way to far’ gesture. Billy smiles slyly and winks.] And now, after far too much success ... [dramatic pause as Billy reaches for his robe’s belt, preparing to untie it] I have something very special to show you. [Another dramatic pause.]
Action: Dramatic music starts playing. Billy releases the belt and throws off the robe, revealing his tailored Shinesty Dogecoin suit. The crowd goes wild.
Action: A K-pop dance group rushes from backstage to start their choreographed dance with Billy. Dramatic music fades into Ganganm Style-esque music. The crowd is blasted with bass as a full-on light show begins. Shiba Inu memes are projected onto the stage and walls.
Action: After a few choreographed moves, “LET’S GET THIS” flashes in lights above DOGECOING (in reference to the phrase ‘let’s get this bread’). The music goes silent right before the drop hits - one second of silence before …
Billy: [Yelling] Let’s get this Doooogecooooooooooin!
Action: The drop hits as Billy begins stripping to reveal his Dogecoin underwear. The crowd goes wild again and can’t be stopped. Billy picks up a t-shirt gun and proceeds to launch Dogecoin underwear into the crowd as fake Dogecoin dollar bills fall from the rafters.
Action: Billy and the dancers continue to dance. The camera pans out to black. Words appear on the screen: “Get your Dogecoin on at Shinesty.com”. Electronic dance music fades out. Screen fades to black.
