Silly Shinesty
Shinesty asked me to launch a fictional product line using their signature brand voice. The creative assignment was wide open: No constraints, no budget, and full freedom. I pitched a Dogecoin-themed apparel line, leaning into the cultural chaos of the time. 🪙
I wrote product descriptions, ad copy, organic posts, and even a video script for a line that included suits, shirts, and underwear. The challenge was balancing clarity with absurdity, making readers laugh while still selling the product.
Key Wins 🐶
Created a fictional product line with copy that matched Shinesty’s high-energy tone
Developed punchy headlines and over-the-top copy that captured attention without losing clarity
Wrote a video script that imagined a full campaign launch, complete with a "hype meets satire" energy
Kept humor high while still focusing on product features and buying triggers
How I Worked
Researched Shinesty’s site to reverse-engineer their tone, structure, and brand rhythms
Choose Dogecoin apparel as the product theme based on the comical cultural relevance at the time
Built copy that layered joke setups into product storytelling, then closed with a clear call to buy
What I Learned
Humor is only effective when it's built on structure. For loud, punchy brands like Shinesty, the challenge is writing clearly inside the chaos. This project reminded me how important it is to earn attention, then reward it.
