Goin’ Green With Ecosystems

Ecosystems Group, Inc. was my first marketing role and a true crash course in wearing every possible hat. I was the company’s only marketer, creating brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales efforts without a budget, agency support, or marketing infrastructure.

With limited tools, I leaned into email, organic content, and community events to build awareness and an online presence from scratch. 🟢

Key Wins

  • Created case studies, email campaigns, social content, and blog posts that led to real prospect engagement

  • Wrote and designed both digital and print marketing materials that helped sales teams secure intro calls

  • Managed website content and made SEO updates to improve long-term discoverability

  • Used limited tools to build and track lead communications

  • Developed and executed organic social strategies that aligned with events and seasonal sales cycles

How I Worked 💚

  • Developed materials for in-person events that delivered inbound leads

  • Wrote and managed all content across platforms, working directly with leadership to shape messaging

  • Created email nurture paths and supporting visuals to drive first contact with prospects

What I Learned

Working under limited constraints taught me how to stretch every idea. I learned how to communicate value, build workflows, and test messaging. If I continued my time at Ecosytems, I’d make a stronger case for investing in content and tools, and build out a more visible brand voice online. Resourcefulness and structure go together.
