Reebok Moves

👟 Reebok needed high-volume, brand-accurate product copy across a wide range of categories. From limited-edition collaborations like Montana Cans (pictured) to high-performance athletic wear. I was responsible for crafting product descriptions that balanced storytelling, compliance, and clarity, while adapting tone across sub-brands like Classic, CrossFit, and Athleisure.

Each week, I wrote and edited product descriptions across men's and women's apparel and footwear. It was fast-moving, detail-heavy work, where voice and word choice had to land on the first try.

Key Wins 🧐

  • Adapted tone based on product line: Stylish and concise for Reebok Classic, utility-driven for CrossFit, and comfort-focused for athleisure

  • Met weekly copy volume targets while maintaining accuracy and legal compliance

  • Continued to revise and refine brand sub-copy guides based on feedback, reducing revision cycles

  • Received consistent positive feedback from Reebok rep

How I Worked 👁️

  • Focused on sub-brand guidelines, nailing micro-storytelling and benefit-forward copy

  • Followed a two-part format: Concise intro paragraph followed by bulleted features

  • Introduced keyword lists to add SEO benefits

What I Learned

Writing a nationally recognized brand takes more than just good instincts. It takes tight word choice, a deep understanding of audience priorities, and flexibility to write within strict creative and legal constraints.

This role taught me how to keep copy fast, sharp, and scalable without losing the human voice that makes a product feel personal.
