True, With Truman

TrumanRx was a men’s health startup focused on wellness and support. I was brought in to help prepopulate the brand’s blog with consumer-friendly content that could inform, build trust, and reflect the brand’s tone from day one.

The topic was sensitive. Many men don’t talk about health issues, let alone seek help. I wrote with empathy and clarity, while grounding the content in clinical accuracy. 🏥

Key Wins

  • Wrote long-form blog posts designed to educate while normalizing the conversation around men’s health

  • Interpreted complex medical content and research into approachable, trustworthy copy

  • Helped shape TrumanRx’s early brand voice to balance authority with emotional intelligence

  • Delivered copy that aligned with brand values around honesty, support, and care

How I Worked

  • Studied trusted, technical medical material to get grounded in the science behind testosterone therapy

  • Developed content outlines that supported the reader’s and search experience

  • Focused on tone so content felt human, not clinical

  • Avoided fear-based language and built trust through clarity and encouragement 👍

What I Learned

When writing for healthcare brands, especially in sensitive categories, tone matters as much as accuracy. TrumanRx taught me how to lead with empathy while still delivering information that helps people make real decisions. It also reinforced how valuable a strong content foundation is for a new brand.
